Party Leadership
The Weber County Democratic Party Executive Committee is the primary administrative body of the Party and consists of four countywide elected officers, a representative from Issue and Identity caucuses, a representative from the State Legislative Districts, and an appointed member. The Executive Committee meets once a month to direct the efforts of our local political movement.

Jeremy Thompson has been involved with the Weber County Democratic Party since 2022, starting as a delegate and serving as Treasurer prior to being elected as Chair. Zachary Thomas

He served as the Chair of the Weber County Democrats from 2018-2021, and as the Chair of County Chairs from 2019-2021. In addition, Zach continues to serve on various community boards, such as Weber County RAMP and Ogden Valley Starry Nights, an organization dedicated to preserving the natural dark sky. Zach is passionate about public lands and is pursuing a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies at Weber State University.

Julie Ray
Chair of Caucus Chairs
Spurned by an outrage against injustice and inspired by a mind wired for systemic change, Julie has been passionate about advocacy from a young age. Raised in a family of socially progressive (yet somewhat religious) women, it was commonplace to hear and engage with thought-provoking conversations discussing a variety of controversial issues. Being raised in an environment where acceptance was valued allowed her to question those which promoted restrictive, authoritative dogma. With the turn in our social and political climate, Julie aspires to empower others to engage with the democratic process. "Everyone cares about something, they just need the tools to act on it". Beyond that, she hopes to see more Utahns advocating against the wave of bigotry that is seeking to weaken the hard-won rights and freedoms that make our country so great.
